Sai Baba's Message for New Year

Do not waste time speculating over what would happen in this New Year. If your actions are good, your future is bound to be good. The future of the nation depends on your actions. God is a witness; He neither protects nor punishes you. Each one is responsible for their pleasure or pain. In this New Year, develop new and sacred feelings and make everybody happy. Do not struggle for money; strive for love. Once you develop love, there will be no scope for evil qualities like anger, jealousy, etc. If your thoughts and actions are good, your future will be good. Then the whole country, nay, the whole world will prosper. Pray for the peace and prosperity of the entire world. Peace can be attained only through the practice of human values.

Little Grandmother on the Shift and the Power of Crystals

Image
Mother Earth is awakening.. Much is being done in the coming days and we  must unite  each other in love and to Gaia Beloved Mother.. this is important dear family and I will write extensively on this very soon. But please gather yourselves a piece of quartz crystal and wear it around your neck.  It is time to reconnect ourselves to Mother.. A small piece of quartz crystal on a simple leather twine or another natural necklace. .  it doesn't have to be big,  it can be small.. place it around your neck, place them on your children, on your loved ones.  The energy of Mother is being reclaimed by the loving human being and her crystals, her heart and her link to our own energy is being renewed... this is more important than I can express here.. but do this my family.. and wear it day and night.. There will be more explained at a later date.. but it is time for us to do this now not later.  Gather together yourselves and wear once again the crystals that ...

Ecclesiastes

Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity. What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun? One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever. The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose. The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits. All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again. All things are full of labour; man cannot utter it: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing. The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? It hath been already of old time, which was before us...

Baba Lilas - Baba in the Smoke

On Monday 15th October 2010, as I was driving along in Hampshire listening to the Jack Hawley reading of the Gita, I saw a column of smoke rising from a field in front of me; and Baba was in the smoke! I was so surprised, that I said 'Baba!'. It was quite clear! He was turned partially way from me, looking down and standing just as he does when he talks to someone sitting on the ground. He may have been talking to a dear friend now at Prasanthi! The image quickly disappeared as I passed it and looking back I could hardly even see the column of smoke.  But it was a lovely Baba lila!  Click here for more Baba lilas

Swami's Hospital at Puttaparthi - Dr Chowdary

Dr Chowdary's talk on Swami's Hospital at Puttaparthi

Eckhart Tolle

E ckhart Tolle's book, The Power of Now , is a great work; one of the most important philosophical books ever written, not because it elucidates a new idea, but that it reminds us of a fundamental one with such clarity and insight. The book begins with a beautiful description of how the German-born, English educated author came by the transformative experience that would guide his life and cause him to write not just The Power of Now but also A New Earth , a fascinating explanation of the workings of the ego in oneself and all of us. ' Until my thirtieth year I lived in a state of almost continuous anxiety interspersed with periods of suicidal depression. One night I woke up in the early hours with a feeling of absolute dread. The silence of the night, the vague outlines of the furniture in the dark room; the distant noise of a passing train - everything felt so alien, so hostile, so utterly meaningless that it created in me a deep loathing of the world. The most loathsom...

The Rig Veda on Creation

There was not then what is or what is not. There was no sky, and no heaven beyond the sky. What power was there? Where? Who was that power? Was there an abyss of fathomless waters? There was neither death no immortality then. No signs were there of night or day. The ONE was breathing by its own power, in infinite peace. Only the ONE was; there was nothing beyond. Darkness was hidden in darkness. The all was fluid and formless. Therein, in the void, by the fire of fervour rose the ONE. And in the ONE arose love: Love the first seed of the soul. The truth of this the sages found in their hearts: seeking in their hearts with wisdom, the sages found that bond of union between Being and non-being. Who knows the truth? Who can tell whence and how arose this universe? The gods are later than its beginning; who knows therefore whence comes this creation? Only that God who sees in highest heaven: he only knows whence came this universe, and whether it was made or uncreated. He only know...

Sai Baba - Why I Have Come

WHY I HAVE COME I have come to light the lamp of love… "I have come to light the lamp of love in your hearts, to see that it shines day by day with added lustre. I have not come to speak on behalf of any particular  Dharma  (religion), like Hinduism. I have not come on any mission of publicity for any sect or creed or cause; nor have I come to collect followers for any doctrine. I have no plan to attract disciples or devotees into My fold or any fold. I have come to tell you of this Universal unitary faith, this Atmic  principle (principle of the Spirit), this path of love."  - Bhagawan's Discourse on 4th July 1968 in Nairobi (Kenya, East Africa). Reference:  "Sathya Sai Speaks", Vol. – VIII, Chapter – 22. Hindusim - From the Exhibition of Hinduism at the Sri Swaminarayan Mandir, London

Hinduism has no single founder, but is a revelation of the world of the spirit by ancient seers and mystics living in India utilising prayer, meditation and austerities as a means of receiving eternal truths. Their collective experiences form the foundation of Vedic scripture and knowledge. Hinduism teaches one to see the presence of God in everything, and thus honour the whole of creation. From this perspective, there are no heathens or enemies. Everyone has the right to evolve spiritually and will in time realise the truth. Hinduism is therefore in every sense generous: souls are not limited to one life - many lives offer many chances of elevation. At the same time it is rigorous: people are responsible for every action they perform, through the Law of Karma. The major beliefs of Hinduism include: Parabrahman: One supreme all-powerful God. he is the creator, has divine form, is immanent, transcendent and the granter of moksha. Moksha: Ultimate liberation and the goal of human lif...
