Baba Lilas - Baba in the Smoke


On Monday 15th October 2010, as I was driving along in Hampshire listening to the Jack Hawley reading of the Gita, I saw a column of smoke rising from a field in front of me; and Baba was in the smoke! I was so surprised, that I said 'Baba!'. It was quite clear! He was turned partially way from me, looking down and standing just as he does when he talks to someone sitting on the ground. He may have been talking to a dear friend now at Prasanthi! The image quickly disappeared as I passed it and looking back I could hardly even see the column of smoke.  But it was a lovely Baba lila!

Ramesh Balsekar 1917 - 2009

Dear Ramesh Balsekar the great advaita teacher died on 27th Sept 2009. Wayne Liquorman's letter is here Dear Friends, It is with the heaviest of hearts I write to tell you of the passing of our beloved Ramesh this morning at 9AM in his home in Bombay.
